About Dirty Birdies Golf Club
Our Story
Founded in 2024 by a group of friends with a shared passion for golf, we came together from various skill levels to enjoy the game we love. Whether we were battling it out in our regular skins game or simply enjoying a round together, it was clear we had something special. That’s when we decided to take the next step and make it official by creating our very own SCGA golf club.

The 2026 Season
The 2025 season will feature three Flights:
- The Masters Flight will be for players with a handicap index of 15.9 or less.
- The Championship Flight will be for players with a handicap index of 16-26.9
- The Open Flight will be for players with a handicap index of 27 or higher.

Scoring
Tournament Participation & Scoring for the Dirty Birdie Cup
- Tournament Entry: For each tournament you enter and pay for, you will earn 2 points.
- Top 25% Finishers: The top 25% of players in each tournament will earn additional points toward the Dirty Birdie Cup.
- CP Winners: Players who win the CP (Closest to the Pin) will also receive 1 point.
- CP Runner up: CP runner ups will receive .5 points.
- Tournament Scoring Breakdown and Tie-breaker Rules
The Dirty Birdie Invitational
At the end of the season, the top 40 players in the standings will be invited to compete in The Dirty Birdie Invitational Tournament, where the Masters, Championship and Open Champions will be determined. It's possible that there may be an uneven number of players in each flight, but all will compete for The Dirty Birdie Cup.
The starting positions for the tournament will be based on the final standings:
- 1st place in each flight will start at -5
- 2nd place will start at -4
- 3rd through 5th place will start at -3
- 6th through 10th place will start at -2
- 11th through 15th place will start at -1
- 16th place and beyond will start at even par.

Rules
To qualify for the Invitational and become the Club Champion, you must participate in more than half of the events held throughout the year. For 2026, this means you must play in at least 6 events.

Our Dirty Birdie Champions will have the exciting opportunity to represent the club in the SCGA Tournament of Club Champions. This prestigious event is open to all handicap levels. Click here for more info.
